Trailer
Resist corrosion, defend against the elements, apply with ease
The frames of trailers need protection against corrosion from the wear and tear of rain, sun and de-icing agents like road salt. Different areas of these frames need different types of protection. Underneath the frames, where aesthetics are not important, the application of underbody coatings provide good protection at cost-effective price points.
Our product range includes:
- Three grades of Ertech asphalt emulsions that can yield low, medium and high film build.
- Blackhawk 5157, an asphalt cutback engineered to be easy to use and store. It is a very low viscosity material applied at 5 — 10 wet film build and acts as metal anti-corrosion frame paint with a pleasing black gloss appearance.
- Blackhawk 5200 Gel Kote, an asphalt cutback engineered to be easy to use and store. It has an increased gel structure, which allows for increased wet film build up to 40 mils. This increase in film adds vibrations dampening and film durability.
- Blackhawk 5202, an asphalt cutback formulated with lower viscosity than Blackhawk 5200 Gel Kote for lower film build and less waste in the form of product residue in the packaging.
